Default Crate

Set the default crate that comes when you install the plugin for the first time.

So you already have the plugin purchased, congratulations! (If not, enjoy it while you can).

First, we need the crate model for either ItemsAdder or ModelEngine:

A few extra steps before going to the game.

In ModelEngine:

  • Download the model(magic_crate.bbmodel).

  • go to your server and look for the folder plugins\ModelEngine\blueprints and paste the model in this directory.

  • run /meg reload

  • you put on the resource pack generated by ModelEngine which is located at plugins\ModelEngine\resource pack

  • Ready to go to the game.

In ItemsAdder:

  • download the add-on(MagicCrates-IA.zip)

  • put the downloaded .zip file in your plugins folder.

  • extract the .zip file (if you are asked to replace it, accept).

  • run /iareload and then /iazip

  • finally you run /magiccrates reload

  • Ready to go to the game.

In the case of this wiki, we will use ModelEngine for the default configuration...

What you must do next is to set the locations where the crate will appear and where the player will appear.

  • First use /crate editor

  • Then click on the default crate in the menu:

  • Then click on the Locations Manager option in the menu:

  • You add a new location:

  • In the chat you type the id of the new location:

  • Then when you type the id, it will send you back to the menu with the location already created:

  • You set the location of the crate and the player, it's as simple as that:

  • Once you have successfully set the location created, go back to the previous menu and go to Reward Manager:

  • Within the menu, click on the Item Reward Location, this will make the reward appear in the location of your choice:

  • set the position of the item (I recommend you to set the position of the reward item by 2 blocks above the crate location and almost by the corner as shown in the image):

  • Then go back to the previous menu and finally Activate the crate so it can be used, give you the key /crate key give magic_crate <player> 1

We are done, now if you followed the steps correctly, you will have a result like in this video below:
